Why is Revolution needed?
There should not be 3 state league clubs competing with each other in a 15 mile radius. The existing clubs are stretched thin while players are split, often leading to players playing up 2 age groups just to fill rosters. Some age groups were not able to form teams. Most groups had to play at the lowest levels of State League to compete. Teams often fall apart as the players age. A more stable, consistent and competitive option was needed for all clubs.
Does this change the other programs at our club (ie grassroots/rec/academy)?
RSC exists ONLY to serve the competitive programs at ages U12-U19. It does not include Academy programs from U8-U11. It does not include Grassroots/ Intramural programs (U4-U8). It does not include Recreational programs U9-U19. SYSA & TUSC will continue to run those programs going forward. RSC is only for competitive teams (ages U12-U19)
What will it cost?
Fees for RSC will be $550 per season. The registration fee does not include uniform costs or tournament fees. RSC's registration cost is in the lower tier for competitive soccer in the Birmingham metro area.
When are tryouts?
Tryouts for Revolution SC will be held during the ASA approved window May 13-15th
2024. Tryouts to be hosted at Trussville United Soccer Club fields (11 Palm St. Trussville, AL 35173)

What options are available if my child doesn't make the RSC team(s)?
There will be recreational options at one of both parent clubs, TUSC and SYSA
Where will we be practicing and playing home games?
The majority of the games and practices will take place at the Trussville United Soccer Complex. Having access to the best facilities on our side of town. We will also have access to Springville's Soccer Fields giving us access to more options for games and practices.
